Just4Kids Group Workshop
WHEN: Workshop classes will begin on Sunday, March 9th, from12:30 -1:30pm (preceding the Just4Kids chess meetups). Workshops will be held 2 times per month on those Sundays that we are not holding a chess tournament.
The Manasota Chess Center is proud to launch Just4Kids Group Workshops. This instruction program is based on the Steps Method, which is considered one of the most effective chess training programs for kids. Steps utilizes workbooks with examples of key ideas, and the curriculum follows the development of a child, with lessons structured into small building blocks that are based on concentric learning (explicitly checking required prior knowledge). All lessons are tailored to the skill level of the student.
